“ This is a small spot serving traditional Dominican food. Found the service to be friendly and quick. The food hit the spot. My only negative would be the green bananas were cold. The portions were perfect and menu had a decently diverse selection. Would I dine there again ...Yup! Muy bien El Fogon! ”
“ Food is great, servers are friendly. Plaintains are the best. The ox tail is also a great choice. We make this a regular stop as part of our restaurant rotation. ”
“ Fire Spanish food but just to far from me once again . I love the way they treat all their customers . Ambiance gives you old school Dominican NY vibes . They had all the fixings and most importantly the flavors I was custom to from my upbringing . Your full when you leave and you don't have to worry about the value of what you paid you will feel it . ”
“ Yes. Yes. And yes!! This a favorite place of mine. The trifongo is absolutely delicious. I always get the Pechuga a la plancha. The service is always great. The ladies are always wonderful. The outdoor seating is great. Definitely get their fruit drinks, delicious!! ”
“ Soooooo underrated!! If I could give them 10 stars, they would easily get it. El fogon Dominicano serves authentic Dominican cuisine and as of recently, they now serve liquor. The restaurant itself isn't very big, they have about 10 tables in total, including the patio seating. There is a decent amount of parking as the shopping center is home to several other businesses. The service: they ladies are always so sweet and welcoming! I have never had a bad experience here. They do customer service right! They offer a hot bar with different options daily. This is where you can find the more "special" type meals. Today I lucked out and got oxtail and pernil. They also offer a menu with several different meal options. My personal favorites are the bistec encebollada and the chimis. You can also get house made juices too! Try the chinola, which is the passion fruit, you will not be disappointed! Final verdict: I 100% recommend this restaurant- it feels like you're in the DR, enjoying grandmas home cooking. The service is amazing, the food is literally chefs kiss! ”
